KLAK TIK is the new musical project from former 6 Day Riot member Søren Bonke. A Danish multi-instrumentalist based in London, Søren composed, performed and recorded this three-track EP single-handedly, which is no mean feat when you consider the array of instruments (banjo, mandolin, ukulele, trumpet) that help to create the Klak Tik sound. Think of him as London’s answer to Sufjan Stevens. Or a less irritating Beirut.
Of course, it’s in my best interests to say nice things about Klak Tik, so here are the opinions of a few impartial observers:

Since the EP’s completion, Klak Tik has evolved into a five-piece band which will make its live debut on 21 November at Soho’s Spice of Life. More live dates are to be announced soon.

Atticus: “Atticus EP” (K801)
The first K8 release is a three-track EP from ATTICUS.
Founded in Cumbria at the turn of the century but currently based between Sheffield and Aberdeen (it depends on who visits who), Atticus creates chiefly instrumental, synthesiser-heavy tracks which bask in the lingering influence of the early nineties shoegaze scene. Some people call this synth-gaze. We’ll let you make your own mind up.
